Happy New Years everyone! Personally I'm so excited for 2008 and all the things we have come up, but first I have to properly put to bed '07. For our Christmas Party Show we had several DJs in attendance and for the show we selected the set of DJ Sola, who has quickly jumped into the pool of our favorite DJs for very good reasons. Sola has given us amazing house sets with wicked track selections - dropping the house remix of Sade's classic "Smooth Operator ," I mean that's just Good Game. I definitely look forward to having him more on the show in 08 - even if he did call out DJ Bis as being a "jive sucka" (his words not mine - I swear) Mad Raver Rai of Glowsticking.com after spending years as a party kid, a freehand glowsticker, and a promoter is taking the next step to reaching baller status as he hops on decks for the first time on the 19th at the NYC party spot Love . I've known Rai personally for years and his progression through the NYC scene has been impressive. Driven by a passion of the scene I know that '08 is going to see him take off. Needless to say I will be there at the party to rock out with my glowsticking.com people and to support Rai when he drops some nastiness on the decks. pzpz -mo |
