Hello, and welcome to my page. My name is Scott Nyce. I was born on May 29th, 1979. I'm originally from Newark, NJ. As of September 22, 2008, I am a father to a son named Graham Ace. I call him by Ace. I have been spinning Drum and Bass since 1997, and going to parties and actively supporting all sorts of musical events since around 1995. I've been involved in music production and engineering since around the early part of 2000. Subculture and all things "underground and obscure" have attracted and intrigued me for as long as i can remember, especially when it comes to music. My son and music mean more to me then money or power ever will. I love them more then life itself, for I truly do believe that they keep me alive.....and mildly sane. I run a small local business that centers around musician and event promotion, and I also work in the restaurant business as well. Alot of people in my area know me for throwing some pretty crazy and controversial local parties throughout the years, both legal and, eh..."unsanctioned".
As far as Djing and Drum and Bass goes, I've had the privilege of getting to know some pretty amazing and talented people, and I've played all over the East Coast, at everything from house parties and rental halls, to beaches and major music and arts festivals. Nowadays music is alot more of a personal thing. Where my own music production is concerned, I've been dabbling in all sorts of stuff lately, but i still love spinning, promoting, and listening to good music of various genres most of all. I really could give a shit less about being a rock star, or "keeping up with the Jones's". Anywho, that's me.
I'm also major supporter and contributor to Zero Hour Radio as well. Zero Hour is a local college radio show brodcasted over 91.3 WVUD. They have a very positive and professional attitude, with good structure, as well as being long running supporters and contributors to the local independent dance music scene. Big Ups Fam. I have much respect for those guys. For more info on Zero Hour and their broadcast schedule, you can go to www.zerohourradio.com
